Coach Milton Senter Inducted into NCBCA Hall of Fame

Coach Milton Senter, the Head Baseball coach at Fuquay-Varina High School was inducted into the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame on January 21, 2012.

Coach Senter is a 1971 graduate of Fuquay-Varina High School.  He played all four sports in high school and won 14 letters.  Coach Senter graduated from Campbell University in 1975 and became the Varsity Baseball Coach in the 1979 season.   While at FVHS Coach Senter has also coached JV football, JV basketball, Varsity Basketball, and was also the Athletic Director from 1988-91.

Coach Senter has had a long and distinguished baseball-coaching career of 35 years.  His coaching record is 548-339. Coach Senter has had a major impact on players.  He has 42 College Signees and 4 Pro Signees.

He has numerous awards and recognitions, which include the following: 

NCBCA Region 3 Coach of the Year-1996, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006
Conference Coach of the Year-1996, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006

NCBCA-All-State Committee Member
NC/SC Challenge- Asst. Coach 2005

Coach Senter has also served as a convention clinician and as the American Legion- Head Coach FV Post 116 1993-2005.  He is a Co-founder and a Board of Director member of the Central Carolina Scholastic Summer Baseball League (CCSBL), which began in 2006.
